Hi!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite posts are the ones where you show your "newest" artwork. I love seeing the direction that your art takes you in and how things move and change. I'm new in the development of my artistic career, and it's very inspiring for me to see what you're creating.

i just recently started looking here since camping with our mutual amiga los diez, and thus far i've enjoyed the 'what's/who's inspiring you' posts and [the seemingly] simplicity of your postings....no bells and whistles, natural, tangible, everyday, but beautiful, modern and inspiring.
ReplyDeletewonderful!
ReplyDeletei would love to see more of your lovely work, and/or what inspires it. i always come here for a dose of inspiration, your work is amazing! would love to have some on my wall :)

Hi, I just jumped in for the first time. Your art work looks really great. As I also work with patterns I really like it. - Barbara
ReplyDeleteHappy first blog birthday! I love discovering new artists via your blog. Thanks for providing such lovely images, looking forward to more over the next 12 months!
ReplyDeleteOh Yay, Happy BIRTHDAY!
ReplyDeleteWhat an exciting milestone .. it's hard to believe it's only been a year ~ your blog is so beautifully created :)
I'd love to just keep seeing more of what you're already doing. Your process thoughts, images and end result posts are all fabulous. I love receiving them straight to my email :)
I LOVE reading your blog! My favorite posts are the DIY's and also seeing your recent work and the inpiration. You are extreemely creative!
ReplyDeleteI'm a fairly new reader and you know that new love is always the best...so I'm still dizzy over all of your amazing work. I guess if I could suggest anything I would love to see a piece done entirely of your amazing line work like that in your eclipse print. Those flowing parallel lines curve so beautifully...I think that would be amazing. Fingers crossed that you draw my name!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful, generous give-away! Anything coming from you is beautiful, thoughtful and inspiring. Once more I am browsing through your blog to choose some of my favorite posts of yours, but it's impossible. However, I always enjoy your posts on your heritage and your creative process.
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your work!
A truly generous giveaway. I have learned so much about art through your blog alone. I love it when you do the artist interviews, and you know I'm a sucker for the fiber arts (I'm a big fan of your paintings, too). As for future blogs, don't hold back when it comes to talking about how "certain" friends are the "wind beneath your wings". hehe.
ReplyDeleteWhat I love about Habit of Art...
ReplyDeleteSeeing your art work and the processes you go through to create it. All of your photography. I like that it is clearly a blog about art but I like that there is some personalness (word?) added... It is something that can be special about blogs that makes them different from looking through a magazine or something- that feeling of connection. Love Portland but live in California so I enjoy seeing pictures. Love that you have these great give-aways. And the interviews and introductions of other artists too. Love it all.
you are beyond incredible. I just adore all the amazing things that come out of your head. :-) ha!
ReplyDeleteKeep creating...:-)
PS- I do see what inspires you by reading your posts. Living in such a beautiful area, I AM sure helps xo
Hi,
ReplyDeleteI don't come here as often as I'd like to. I like seeing your work in process, how the creativity developes, your photography (which is beautiful and makes me really jealous of where you live) and reading your self-criticism.
Happy first birthday!
Happy 1st Blog Birthday, Cathy!
ReplyDeleteEver since I've come across your work, I've been truly inspired. Thank you so much for sharing your life & work. It means so much to have someone share such an awesome adventure. :)
Look forward to many more years!!
Cheers!
